Antifa and other far-left activists clashed with police during a massive pro-abortion march in Downtown Los Angeles on Tuesday evening.
The march started off peacefully, with the activists in “pussy hats” giving speeches in Pershing Square.

There were approximately 250 people involved at the start of the march, according to Los Angeles Police Department Chief Michael Moore.

Once night fell, the situation quickly devolved to violence.

The Los Angeles Police Department declared an unlawful assembly at approximately 9:20 p.m. local time.

Just after 9:30 p.m. local time, a citywide tactical alert was declared. The Los Angeles Police Department also announced that one officer had been injured when the crowd began throwing rocks and bottles at officers.
“A group of protestors began to take the intersection. Officers attempted to communicate, clear and provide dispersal order to the group. The crowd began to throw rocks & bottles at officers. One officer injured (unknown extent). Citywide tactical alert has been declared,” the LAPD tweeted.
